This is the blog of 拉康的a — “Lacan’s a”.

The two characters in the footer, 徒然, come from Yoshida Kenkō’s Tsurezuregusa (Essays in Idleness): with nothing in particular to do, I write down whatever drifts through my mind. In Chinese the same word means “in vain”. Knowing it may all be in vain, I write anyway.

Countless small thoughts fill a life.
